How to identify keyboard manufacturer

#1 Post by tpasic » Mon Sep 03, 2012 11:18 am

Is there a way to identify the keyboard manufacturer (Alps, Chicony, NMB, etc) on a T60? i.e. are there markings on the keyboard?

Thanks.

Remove the keyboard, compare the P/N or FRU on the bottom with the list in the HMM: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail. ... MIGR-62733
If it has been replaced before, it might also be a keyboard from an R60, R61, T61.

It's not completely necessary to remove the keyboard, you can look under the arrow keys and compare them with the picture in this topic: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=44310
