The Lenovo Outlet has this battery on sale as part of their Labor Day Sale :

I can find internet recommendations for this battery for the T60, but I can find absolutely no specs anywhere at Lenovo.

And, the Lenovo Chat guy was friendly but couldn't find any details either, he just wanted me to buy a $150 battery.

Does any one know if this will fit my 15" T60 2007-V3B ?

All T60 batteries are the same, so yes, it should fit and it's one heck of a good deal to boot.

The info at Lenovo about this battery and what it specifically fits is non-existant !

The T60 needs a battery called ThinkPad Battery 41+ (6 cell). According to these pages

its previous name was "T/R/W/SL Series 6-cell Li-Ion Battery". The P/N is 40Y6799. As the outlet sells the 51J0468 as "T/R/W/SL Series 6 Cell Li-Ion Battery", it looks as if the 51J0468 should be the right battery for your T60.

Thanks ... very nice links that show "previous name" which helps corroborate that the 51J0468 will fit the T60 (as well as a few other models).

I ordered one at the sale price even though Lenovo's knowledge of eCommerce needs a lot of help.
