[T60p] Windows 8 random freeze problem

Hi there,
I was wondering if someone tried to run Windows 8 on a T60p?!
Basically it runs pretty smooth but I get weird random freezes once in time. First, the current window stops responding, the mouse still works but you cannot minimize the window or run other programs. The funny thing is, that the window itself keeps being activated (e.g. a video resumes..). A minute later the mouse also freezes and the whole system stops responding. I gotta kill the system by holding down the power button, then it starts and eventually runs for days... ?!?!?!
The following solutions have been posted somewhere else - nothing helps!
- I tried disabling dynamic tick by executing "bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes" command
- tried to enable and use "Hyper-V".
- Updated all Intel Chipset Driver
- completely deactivated Windows page file
I was wondering if a missing / wrong driver for the video card (ATI FireGL 5250) could be the problem? Used the old vista-driver because the system does not even install any driver so the correct screen resolution cannot be set. ATI also does not offer any Win8-Driver yet and refers to the Lenovo-Site (which only offers the Vista-Driver from 2007).
Thanks for any comments and suggestions!
