A bit confused with laptop model.
A bit confused with laptop model.
Hi
I have a t60. Well is it t60?
It says t60 on the body. It is 15.4 inch screen (1680x1050) The type is 8743-cto.
So is this a t60 or t60p?
Reason for asking is I need a modified bios for wifi whitelist removal. I see there are 2 different bios-es one for t60 and one for t60p.
What is the definite model and which bios do I need?

Re: A bit confused with laptop model.
Since your machine 'only' has ATI X1400 graphics, it's a regular T60.
The P-versions have ATI FIREGL V5200 or V5250 graphics.

Re: A bit confused with laptop model.
Do bear in mind that widescreen models need a different BIOS from the other T60/p units...

The Board Room no longer hosts those BIOS files (my hosting co. didn't like it).
Next time search Google with "slic bios ibm T60 widescreen" or similar (use your imagination!).
You'd find things like: http://www.mediafire.com/?sp1l11i1xpsiw41
