Hi all
I might be buying a T61 6464-CTO
But what is the specs on this model?
Can't find it on Google, so thought you guys might know it.
His description tells a 14'' 1680x1050, T7500 Core 2 Duo, 2GB ram. But it doesn't add up, as the T61 wasn't made with that resolution as a 14'' model.
HELP :p
Thanks
Cola

That could possibly be a 15.4" widescreen T61 with Intel graphics and WSXGA+.
But I have never seen such a machine in the 6464 group.
The CTO stands for Configured To Order, meaning it was a special order, where anything is possible.
Ask seller if there is a PRODUCTID on the same sticker where he found the 6464-CTO.
And what does it show in the first BIOS screen after
System unit serial number?
AFAIK there is no 14.1" widescreen T61 with a larger resolution than 1440x900.
Check out this machine in the Market forum:

Hi guys
Thanks for your answers. He sent me a pic, where I could see that the ProductID is 6464WMJ.
Can't find this particular model on any of the pages you guys sent me.
Does that productID seem familiar to you guys??

It doesn't show up in Lenovo's US site either:

That's the first time i ever saw that. Next would be to get a screen shot of the BIOS.

That should be a 15.4", but the only way to get the exact parts is to do a parts lookup with the serial number, but there is no assurance that it will have the same parts it shipped with and I wouldn't count on what the seller tells you if they they it's a 14"... it sounds like they are just guessing at the specs.
Also, many CTO systems aren't in lenovo database due to errors, dataloss or just incompetence.

Hope this helps.
