4:3 T61 warranty until January/2013

Interesting 4:3 T61 I found here. Still in warranty until 2013. If the Nvidia chip fails before warranty expires, what will Lenovo do for the replacement? Refurbished board? Replace with New board? Anyone have any ideas?
Looking at the warranty expiration date, the board was made sometime between December 2007 ~ January 2008

Of course the board would go into my Frankenpad.

You'll get a refurb board that could have an old gpu, or a new gpu from nVidia that are manufactured only as needed for oem customers. If you get the latter it will be the perfect frankenpad board, the former would be unfortunate.
