hi

i had the latest lenovo bios 2.30 on my t61. windows 7 32bit.

then i put in the middleton hack to get ready for some upgrades (used the windows 32bit installer, looks ok)

i saw a message that the middleton version was 'older' than the lenovo one.

question: should i now reinstall the lenovo bios update?

and are any future updates of any kind affected by the middleton? (i use the lenovo system update program).

thanks.

[cpu-z now shows bios as 2.29]

[in bios/config, looks like it has been set to run in AHCI mode, is that right?]

Middleton's BIOS is far superior to Lenovo's BIOS.
AFAIK Lenovo's V2.30 did not bring anything useful over V2.29
If you want SATA II speed and the other goodies, do NOT update with any Lenovo BIOS.
