Hi all,
The screen shows some horizontal lines when the lid is open above some angle (see image below). There are no lines when it is open up to that angle.
What could it be? Is it possible to give some guesses?
thank you,
geos

My guess is it is the LCD.
I know, I was surprised too.

Couldn't it be a tape that connects LCD to motherboard?
If this is LCD, what could be damaged inside of it if lines appear at some angle and then disappear?
thank you,

It's the row-drivers that are damaged.
These are on the short side of the LCD and apparently can come loose over time.
Try a gentle 'rubbing' on the left side of those lines, they may go away.
Sometimes putting a piece of tape on the frame may also help.
If not, you'll need to replace the LCD.

Thanks guys. Two answers for LCD corrupt. Could you give me some idea how those row-drivers look like? I tried to look for them on my other LCD panel, but I couldn't figure out where they are. A picture of it would be appreciated.
thank you
