I converted your pic to a link because we generally like to keep the file sizes under 50k and it's too big.

Which OS are you trying to install? You might want to set the hard drive to compatibility mode in the BIOS. You can try Linux disc to see if there's hardware issue.

You can't boot from an .iso file, it's a disc image. You need to either burn it to a disc, or make a bootable usb drive with it. Most linux distributions have instructions for making a bootable usb device, or if you want to burn a bootable disc, I'd recommend ImgBurn (imgburn.com), it's free and very easy to use, just select to burn a disc image, select the .iso file and you'll have a bootable disc in a few mins.

Regarding compatibility mode, windows XP and prior versions don't have support for SATA drives, so compatibility mode is needed (unless you add the sata support to the disc or slipstream them in on a floppy disc). When using Vista, Seven or Linux you won't need compatibility mode. If you still get no results I'd try substituting known good ram. If you have two modules installed, I'd try them one at a time and see if you can find a combination where you don't get this error.

Did you tell it to boot from the USB drive? That to me says it sees the system now sees the drive, but there's no OS.

I don't believe anyone suggested you install linux on your harddrive, unless you wanted to, rather just boot the liveCD and run the operating system from the disc to see if it's working, but if you're getting high temp errors, then you have a hardware problem. This definitely sounds like a lot more then just trying to install windows and seems like you aren't giving us the full background here. I suggest you start from the beginning and tell us the full history of this problem.

If this is the same machine from your previous posts, you definitely have a hardware heating issue. No you can't physically feel it as everything will shut down before there's smoke. IMO, whoever swapped your CPU did a bad job of it. Your CPU is overheating because of this. No software will solve this. You have to get this fixed first. Fix is to take everything apart and reinstall properly using some new thermal paste.

Awesome. Now you can do some stability tests. Use a program call HWMonitor to monitor temperature, CPUZ is useful for displaying CPU and memory status, and Prime 95 to get the CPU running at full throttle (torture test). I'd generally consider a system stable if it's able to run 8 hours of Prime 95, others consider it stable after 2 hours while others only after 24 hours.

These are the same tools favoured by overclockers to test for stability after an overclock.
