Connector between pc and screen

Hi,
I have an T61P (ALG 8889)

The connector between the pc and screen is broken.
Been trying to find the spare part on the net,but nothing.

Could anyone help me identify the spare part number or where to buy ut?

You are presumable looking for hinges.
Check eBay for t61p hinge
You need hinges with P/N 42W3653 or 42W3654 for a 14.1" standard (non-widescreen) model.

Its not the hinges.

Its the cable that powers and transmit to the screen.

Hopefully somebody know where to buy it !

There is usually a label on the cable itself with a FRU number. Or look in the hardware maintenance manual for the FRU number for your particular model. Looks to me to be 93P4511, but check the manual for yourself to be sure:

Best place to get one would be our forum Market Place. Or search eBay for that number and see what you find.

I have the cable you need, it's not an expensive part, the postage will actually be more then the part considering it has to travel overseas, but if there are any other bits and pieces you need they can get a free ride along with it.
