So, I finally managed to net one of these things. What's the first thing I do? Take it apart! First up, the ICs, from ThinkPad end to the outside are as follows:
P15C 16862 CAE, seems to be a DC-DC converter
National Semiconductor PC87384-VS, a SuperIO chip
Maxim MAX3244CAI, an RS-232 transciever
Anyway, here are some pics of the board. You'll have to excuse the crappy quality, I don't have a good camera or a proper scanner at the moment.

Eh? The link I have is the desktop webpage. It links to the album that has all of the pictures.

Well, photobucket must be messing with me then. When I clicked on that link the first time it took me to the mobile version.
