Can i cannibalize a T61 to upgrade an R51?

My T61 screen is cracked and has bled out. I have a chance to purchase an R51 laptop with good motherboard and healthy screen for 30 bucks...I want to cannibalize my defective T61 (hard drive, memory, disc drive) and spice up the older R51. Does anyone off the top of their head no if this is "do-able"?

The only part from T61 usable in R51 would be the media drive.

Selling the R51 and buying a replacement screen for T61 comes to mind...

I have some T61 screens if you're interested, some as low as $25-50 depending on the screen. The T61 is lightyears ahead of an R51 in technology so you should focus on fixing it, as long as all it needs is the screen.
