I am having trouble finding a replacement screen for my t61. It is an 8897 with a Samsung LTN141XA-L01 lenovo part number 42t0632. Does anyone know if other part numbers will fit?

As long as you stay within the same screen size/resolution and obtain a genuine Lenovo-issued LCD, the answer is "yes".

I believe I have one of these screens , it's in really nice condition too and I'd be willing to let it go cheap. Send me a PM if interested.
