T61 15" LCD

So I'm debating if I should upgrade the pc or just swap the LCD. The existing screen is really dim and has artifacts from some sort of damage.
I upgraded the processor to T9500 2.6 and using an Intel 330 SSD. I like the 1680x1050 but I think there's a 1920x1600 available for the 15". If I upgrade I like a brighter lcd screens so if you guys can recommend a specific part that is brighter than the existing one. Figure out the existing panel is 42X4641 Samsung

Any way to know which one is brighter ?

I have other laptops so won't hurt if I keep this one but wont hurt to get something new either. In existing inventory I have x201/x220/230/t500/t61 - 14, misc dells.

LG is brighter and has better contrast & viewing angles in my experience.
