What is the latest BIOS for the T60?

My T60 bought in November 2006 and running XP Pro (the original install) shows this info in the BIOS:

BIOS Version 2.26 (79ETE6WW)
BIOS Date: 2010-04-01
Embedded Controller Version 1.07
System-unit serial number 1953CTOL3AR804

Is this the latest? I plan of swapping out the original 60GB HD for an SSD, either of these that I bought recently:

Intel 330 180GB
Intel 520 120GB

Is that the latest BIOS?

Look into getting a copy of Zender's modded BIOS which removes the wireless card whitelist along with a couple of other treats... :)

It's not, but having the latest BIOS is unlikely to make a difference.

The latest Lenovo T60 BIOS is 2.27 (79uj34us)

It's one before the latest (which is 2.27), but it won't make a difference. As long as it's 2.21+ and not 2.25 - you're fine. 2.27 did not fix anything meaningful.

You may follow George's suggestion and obtain a custom BIOS, although it won't have any effect on SSD compatibility/performance either.

Buy a Samsung 830 or 840 SSD instead of the above Intel.

Why. I got the Intel because I heard that Intel's SSD Toolbox is a lot better than Samsung's and that it should help me in running XP on the machine, automatic TRIM function.

That whitelist removal might be a good idea. I'm having some problems with the stock wireless of the T60. It takes a long time to find my network (around 30 seconds when waking from suspend, I'd guess). Also my hope is another wireless card would help eliminate the very frequent audio dropouts I get for a streaming webex application I run very frequently.
