Trying To Reassign Thinkvantage Buttom

Hi,
I have rebuilt my T60p with a fresh install of Win 7 64 bit which works superbly.

Only I am now trying to reprogram the Thinkvantage Blue Button To open "Lenovo System Tools". I have searched on Google to no avail
I can only find advice on reprogramming it to open a program such as notepad or Internet Explorer.

The trouble I have is that the system tools is hidden away in:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe ::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\2\::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}\Provider%5CMicrosoft.Base.DeviceDisplayObjects//DDO:%7B00000000-0000-0000-FFFF-FFFFFFFFFFFF%7D\cat{8AA6B0C2-14A6-4da8-BF36-F7D93ACE9ACE}

Any ideas on how I can achieve my aim?! :D

When installed, Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox is triggered by that button. If you have that to install, you may wish to try it - one, for the fact that you may prefer it, and two, because you should be able to see the button registry entry it creates. The latter might help you if you do prefer Lenovo System Tools over Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox and want to use the same syntax.

Be advised, I'm only stating that installing Toolbox might help in some manner if you already possess it, not advising you search it out if you don't have it already (as per discussion here).

You have to install the old ThinkVantage Toolbox software. Even if you manually create the registry key it won't work. After you install Toolbox you can assign it to anything else. Unfortunately lenovo no longer has it for download since they no longer have a license for PC Doctor, what it was built on. You might find it elsewhere, though.

I think I said that, but it bears repeating. ;)
