T61p - 6458-CTO - Max RAM not listed on ThinkWiki

Anyone know if this thing will take 8GB? It's not listed here (actually a 6458-VCK):

Also, and by the way, this machine was manufactured 08/05. I take it this means the graphics chip is not long for this world? Should I unload this and try to pick up a T61p of later vintage? I"m finding a lot of these on the market now, out here in the Silicone Valley area. I got this one cheap, so I wouldn't be too pained ...
Or, since I did get it cheap, maybe I should just accept that I'll have to replace the mobo some day?
Any thoughts? Thanks -
