Advanced dock - Asus HD 6450 cannot start

Hi, I'm experimenting with T60p advanced dock and Asus Radeon HD 6450.
Inside the dock there is a metal bracket which touches a metal solder on the back of the card. So card won't get detected. Card is brand new and works in desktop computer.
I have taped over the metal bracket in the dock and after that the card is detected and driver installed.
I cannot get PCI Express card and onboard FireGL V5250 (X1600 based) to work at the same time. I managed to select PCI Express graphics first in BIOS and Thinkpad boots with external display attached to 6450, however then the internal card is not detected.
If I set system to start with internal FireGL the PCIe HD 6450 gets detected but it fails to start and I cannot expand desktop to it.
This setup otherwise targeted to R60 with X1300 onboard which I will get latter today. The desire is to run more scrrens from R60p
Both Thinkpads run Windows 7
I read online that people have managed to make this card work in advanced dock.
