T60 + Intel X25-m and Youtube?

I have a t60 and I benchmarked the hard drive in it and it only runs at 30mb/s. Just 30% of what an SSD could do on a T60.

If I put in an Intel X25 ssd, which is getting pretty cheap and reasonable, would I be able to expect that youtube videos can load and run reasonably smoothly?

Youtube on my t60 right now is pretty poor.

your hard drive speed though not great isn't the problem for slow youtube videos. Maybe cpu throttling or something else. GPU throttling or try different video drivers.
