Hello,

I have Lenovo ThinkPad T60p (2007-YS3) with Windows 7 x64 installed. The chipset is i945PM with T7600 CPU.

I want to upgrade the RAM memory from 2GB to 4GB, but I saw that many users have a problems after a similar upgrade and only 3GB are useable. I want to buy two pieces of this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820233079.

How you think, is it compatible with my system?

Thank You! :)

The T60/T60p requires only PC2-5300 @ 667MHz RAM.
If you put in PC2-6400 @ 800MHz RAM it will work fine, but automatically clock down to 667MHz.
So unless one is much cheaper than the other, it makes no difference which one you use.
And there is also no use in buying 2x2GB, because you can only use 3GB, regardless of 32/64-bit CPU or X86/X64 Windows!
In other words, your best solution will be 2GB + 1GB.
And don't worry about what other people might say about Dual Channel blah-blah, you will NEVER notice.
