How to uninstall Nvidia PowerMizer Manager on T61p

I installed it a week ago, and unable to uninstall. I did the "backup settings" before using it, but it wont go back.
Anyway, i was wondering if i put it on "auto throttle" is it the same as without it ?

i would not recommend anyone to install it (at least not on Win 7). If i uncheck the "enable powermizer feature"
it goes to max performance....
if i try "delete powermizer settings" i get the message "powermizer settings not found. you need to create..."
and of course i created it few times.... there just no way out of this


Will new Nvidia Drivers will override this ?

my idle temp now is at 66C, i'm pretty sure it was 55C before.
i need some help here

I'm surprise you can't uninstall it from Windows uninstall program, including driver uninstall. The few times I've tried this it worked for me but not with Nvidia's powermizer.

it doesnt show up in the "windows uninstall". it's wasn't really "installed" to begin with.
it just changed something in the registry.

i tried this "Powermizer Switch" , all what it does for me, was to bring the GPU to be fixed on max performance .
i cannot disable it with having it the way it use to "throttle automatically" by itself. I now have to use it to have at automatically throttle ..

That is one piss poor software. Reminder to self, don't install this crap.

i cannot agree more, i just hope i dont need to re install windows all together now ...
