what is the best 14" sxga+ screen for a t61

i have a t61 with a cracked sxga+ lcd. what would be the best lcd to use for a replacement? are there any 14" lcds that come close to an ips screen? any help is appreciated, thanks

There are no standard (4:3, SXGA+, 1400x1050) or widescreen (16:10, WXGA+ 1440x900) 14.1" screens in IPS available.
To replace your screen, you should get one with a P/N or FRU from IBM or Lenovo.
These screens contain an EDID chip with special coding that is missing on others, even from the same manufacturer!
The manufacturers of the screens are Samsung (bad), TMD (good) and HYDIS (good).
Hydis 42T0433
Samsung 42X4582 and 42X4687
TMD 13N7063
If you buy one that is claimed on eBay as "100% compatible", it is NOT (missing the EDID chip).
