Hi,

I'm going to buy new genuine AC adaptor for my T61 via our local auction service called allegro. There are some offers of genuine AC adaptors but I'd like to get some info from forum members regarding visual indicators (like part numbers, label layouts, text descriptions etc) I should look for at the bottom of such hardware. I have heared that that some Chinese manufacturers put fakes on market and simply I don't want to buy such unit.

Fake adaptor is notably lighter than the genuine ones.
Most of adaptors with label "thinkpad" on the top side (instead of "lenovo") are fake.
All fake adaptors I have seen are 90w ones, with 3-prong AC cable. I have never seen fake 65w adaptors.
