T60 CPU upgrade to T7200-T7600

Heya,

another silly question here. Does every single T60 motherboard support fully T7200,T7400,T7600 or just specific models?

As long as you have a recent bios installed any T60 board should support these chips. I had a case where a member assembled a machine with a T60 board and T7600 cpu and it didn't properly recognize the cpu but once an older cpu was installed and the bios updated the problem was resolved.

If you come across a similar problem make sure the system is stable before you attempt a bios update.
