thinking to buy a T61

I am thinking to buy a second hand T61

if I put the code on the lenovo support page it gives:

While I have direct experience of the T4x and the X20x series, I am completely new to the T6X series.

Is this a good machine to buy?
The offer is complete of dock station, slot for second HD and DVD burner.

Is there any known issue of the T61 series (noisy fan, bad LCD, etc. ) that I should take in consideration?
I will have the opportunity to try the machine before to buy.

A well known issue is the nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M chips installed in ThinkPads, and other brands too, before 08/08 are defective. Other than that, the T61 line is a fairly solid machine.
