Thanks Tuus!

I have to send a big thanks to TuuS for his service and support in getting my FrankenPad back up and running. I went for one of his holy grail FrankenPad nvidia mobo's a couple of weeks ago after my SECOND nVidia board failed. This one was NIB with a 2010 dated GPU. I'm looking forward to this machine without the worry of the GPU failing again. I feel a lot better about putting some cash into it with more RAM and maybe a SSD at some point. The nVidia GPU reliability/durability has alway's been the biggest downfall of an nVidia FrankenPad but this sure solves the problem. My 2007 nVidia board ran at 80C sometimes under a load where this new board runs in the mid 60's.
I feel like I've really got a winner here with the 2010 GPU, UXGA 1600x1200 IPS display, classic Thinkpad durability/build/quality and good room to upgrade.I really noticed a HUGE difference in build quality over this original T60p when I bought it over my old 14" 4:3 T61p. The T61p had the better nVidia FS570m board (which later died in my FrankenPad) but the build of the T60p was way better. The bottom case was much thicker plastic. The plastic on the fan intake and exhaust had started to break up from weak design on the T61p. The bar screen was very thin. The T60p is like a tank and hasn't hardly shown any sign of use. I think the T61p had a fully supported lid where the T60p doesn't but I don't really notice that.
Thanks again TuuS! You're a great resource to this community along with several other "guru's" around here. It's great to have someone with the amount of knowledge and products available as you!
