Wifi Upgrade

I know this topic has been beaten to death and i did search the forums on here but i'm still lost. I'm looking for a better wifi card for my t60 (2007-4cu). Currently it has the 3945ABG and would like to swap it out for something faster/better. Does anyone know a part# i can look up for a direct replacement without modding the bios (middleton). From what i read on here and i could be wrong is that the Atheros AR5008x is the way to go with a stock lenovo bios. Thanks for you patience and understanding. Does this forum have a faq or a sticky thread for all upgrade options on the t60 (cpu, dvd, ram, screens)?

First of all, Middleton's BIOS is applicable to *61 series. On a T60 you'd need Zender's BIOS.

Secondly, you're looking for a FRU 42T0825 or 42T0827.

No FAQs on parts swap.

Am i using stock windows-7 or should i look for drivers online direct from Atheros

Stock W7 drivers will do just fine.
