Several FrankenPad qestions

Hi everybody and happy new year!
I am going to build my first frankenpad, so I have few questions to aswer. I was about to use my T60 as a donor and swap its motherboard with a T61 one, but while I was reading some frankenpad threads i came accross this: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=101626 I did not know that there are R61`s wiht 15" 4:3 displays, so decided to use one of them as a base for my frankenpad. Unfortunately they seems to be rare and all I managed to find and buy is some choped 15" R61i - the base of the laptop including all plastic parts, motherboard with its frame, some processor I don`t know exactly what else, because still has not arrived . It is missing the keyboard and the display - everything up the hinges. Now I found a complete T60 15" 4:3 lid assembly - hinges, bezel, sxga+ IPS panel, inverter and LCD cable and my first question is it going to fit the R61 body or not. I presume that IBM/Lenovo did not do any major changes in the design of these two succesive generations ThinkPads and as I am looking the pictures of the R61 base, it has the same dimensions and shapes as my T60, but I am not sure whether the place for the hinges will be the same, the lenght of the wifi cables will be enought and the lcd cable will connect at the same places on both thinkpads. Ofcourse i can wait the R61 to come and compare them, but I am aware that the IPS display that I found will be purchased. And if they are not interchangable, can i just replace the hinges from the T60 lid wiht the right one to fit R61 base?
Also I am going to buy an Intel T9300 processor, so next qestions are what heatsink to use - the stock processor of R61 is come Centrino Duo, so will the original heatsink be enought for the purpouse; and can you give me some link to a complete guide for Middleton BIOS upgrade.
