I bought a thinkpad T60 (1952-CTO). I installed windows but the desktop image on
the screen is not full size. It is about half the size it should be centered in the
middle of the screen. What can I do to correct this? thanx

Try this:

1) restart
2) when the ThinkPad splash screen appears press F1 a couple of times
3) you should be in the BIOS menu now
4) select 'Config'
5) select 'Display'
6) select 'HV expansion' so that it is 'On'
7) press F10 to save the settings and restart

I am 80/20 that this does the job. If it does- yay!

White you're poking around in the BIOS...report the type number shown there. Can't really tell what you have with the CTO number.

Anyway, if a graphics driver is installed, Windows should detect the correct resolution for the display automatically. So, I'm guessing you either have not installed a video driver, or the display was swapped out at some time with one that doesn't have the proper EDID chip on it.
