Anyone know who is selling this?

Anyone have any idea if the guy selling this laptop is on this forum?

I'm not interested in it... just curious. It looks like a pretty solid Frankie, very similar to mine. Good track record on feedback too. Looks like his Flexview is just an SXGA+ though...

Not a bad looking machine but he's a BS artist and then some.

Third generation i5 CPU comparison? Not in this life.

It won't sell for a grand with a LG panel, IMO.

Might get that much with a Hydis.

Yeah... looking at it closer I can see he's definitely overselling it. I was just curious if he was on here... but it seems he isn't, I put a search on his name and other related words and he doesn't show.

But really sire... good luck with the sale. My Frankenpad's a bit more qualified for such a price, and I probably wouldn't even sell it for that much.

That's a 14.1" T60, too.

There was a mis-listed 15" IPS T60p as 14" a few days ago-- seems like people have trouble telling the difference between 14" and 15" models.

Responded before I could edit my post, yeah it's a 15", I couldn't tell from the first few [dark] photos.

It's a 15", judging by the pixel depth with Windows 7, it seems to be the SXGA+ Flexview, not a UXGA that should be in a high-class Frankie, that this guy advertises his to be.

Regardless, it is pretty nice for him to have the factory Penryn board, if he does indeed have that... but an X9000 is just overkill for an Intel frankie in my opinion. There's absolutely no need for it...

The plastics do seem to be in nice condition though. But... a grand? For a Frankenpad with an SXGA+ and a Intel only motherboard?
