What to do with my misrepresented ebay purchase?

Hi,
I recently bought a T60 on eBay where the seller specified flexview and it wasn't. I'm most likely going to send it back but I thought I would get your input before I do.
It's a 14" T60 with
T7200
2gb
160gb
dead battery
no charger.
All of this seemed fine provided it was a flexview, but it's just a regular 14" SXGA+. Bummer.
Send back yes?

If it's not as described, at the very least get in touch with the seller and make your case. Let the seller offer a solution, which may include a partial refund if you're interested in keeping the unit. If you have no interest in keeping it though, definitely request a return.

That's what I'll do then.
Are there any sweet screen replacements for the T60 14"?

AFAIK, none of the 14" T60 are Flexview, the best you can hope for is a SXGA+ screen. I got a couple of these machines and love it. Of all of my many laptops, this is my daily runner.

Yeah. The seller stated it was flexview but didn't say what the screen size was. I jumped to the conclusion that a 4:3 flexview was a 15 instead of the other way around.
I love the little T60 but viewing angle is one of the less flexible features for me...
If only there were a nice display to drop in this...

Return it, then read up about laptop specs and differences.
Doing your laptop homework first is mandatory, before you jump to conclusions in this almost insane world of model variety.

Thanks everyone. I'll make that recommendation to the seller.

RBS is correct - there are just too many different models. Its dizzying.
The reference books are right here on this site, so there's no excuse for not looking up any potential purchase ahead of time. There's also lenovo.com/support where you can see most (not all as we have discovered) model specs as well.

Yeah I agree. I've essentially forwarded that information to the seller so they can make accurate descriptions for future sales.
You understand that the seller said flexview, but didn't say screen size. If flexview then 15" is the logic. I didn't take into account the probability of the seller being wrong. Which may in reality be quite high.
