Another Middleton bio question

I have a T61p with 15.4" screen, Intel ssd, Wndows 7 32 bit.
From what I've seen, the Middleton bios listed here
http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo/ ... ost6501443
is for the 14" screen, no mention of 15". Is this an issue?
Is there a later version since that 7/2010 thread?
Which is safer, direct update from W7 or burning a disc? Is a cdrw ok to use?
Thanks for any help before I do this.

Can't you read? It states clearly: T61, T61p
There's no newer BIOS (since 2.30 has nothing special to offer).
Make a bootable CD, rather than update from within Windows.

Thanks for the clarification, but not for the attitude.

The Middleton BIOS is the same for the whole range of T61*, regardless of screen size, GPU chip, or form factor. Do yourself a favor and do not risk to brick your BIOS by direct update from within any OS, although it might work according to testimony by others.

The risk of bricking your machine is much less likely if your perform the flash out of a clean controlled environment, as provided by the bootable CD. Just burn a CD (CD-RW is fine) and boot your T61 with it.

Some preliminaries: Reset your old BIOS to default settings before the upgrade, and make sure your T61 has a chaged battery inserted, for power loss safety.
