Upgrade question, Intel 5300 wireless on T60p 2623-DDU

I'm wanting to upgrade my wireless less card on my T60p 2623-DDU with an Intel 5300 card. Of course, I'll need to flash the modded bios for the machine to accept the card.
My question is this: will the card work in the slot for the wireless WAN card, or must I install it in the same slot as the wireless LAN card I'm replacing? The wireless LAN slot only has two antenna wires available but the Intel 5300 card wants three, and I'm too lazy to install the third antenna wire to the wireless LAN slot.

One is not supposed to use WWAN antennae for WLAN. They are different in gauge and generally don't work as well as native WLAN antennae.

Third antenna is not the biggest of deals in my experience, and can be omitted without major consequences.

Better u upgrade to 802.11ac card in your t60 as i did.
