Uunderboi'sT60p died

OK, Uby was using is T60p for the better part of the morning. It shut down by itself. Now when you try to power it up, the first two lights fire up, then it shuts down. Think 2 seconds max.

Pulled the memory, no beep and no difference
Pulled the CMOS battery, no difference
Pulled the WIFI card and modem, no difference
Unplugged the fan just for giggles, no difference

Yanked the HDD and put it in my 14.1 inch, its fine

Do you have a spare cpu to try? It sounds like a board is fried, but I had one with similar symptoms that turned out to be the cpu. It'a s long shot but you can give it a try. Any T60 series chip will do for the test.

If you end up needing a new board I may have one.
