T61 and FRU 42X3827

Hey Folks!

Just searched in the german forum such an PC-Card/ Expresscard- Slot and was told there would be only the FRU 42X3828 which would be the same as the FRU 42X3827, is this right, why does the HMM list such an FRU (FRU 42X3827) when there is no such part to find? My machine is an 14" wide and once again, the FRU of the PC-Card/ Expresscard- Slot in the HMM for my machine is 42X3827.

So the question is, are those people wrong, isn't FRU 42X3827 and 42X3828 real the same? Or is it just a mistake in the HMM, so that the FRU 42X3827 is listed which is the FRU 42X3828 in reality?

Can anyone get me out of my confusion?

One is a FRU the other a P/N, both belong to IBM/Lenovo, both (usually) indicate the same part.
Usually they are sequential numbers, but there is no rule/regulation/law/habit that says so.
