Intel(R) Chipset Driver
I've been trying to install the Intel(R) Chipset Driver that I downloaded from
Lenovo but so far without any luck. Has anybody had this problem, and how
does one go about solving it?

Re: Intel(R) Chipset Driver
Usually these old(er) downloads only 'unpack' themselves to C:\DRIVERS
Run the download again, then note where it is unpacked to.
Go there and run setup.exe to install.

Re: Intel(R) Chipset Driver
I tried going this route but what I get is a 75 KB text file from Intel(R) that is
not all that easy to understand. I got the idea from reading the information
contained in this file (Intel(R) Chipset Readme)that the Drivers I need were in
the "All" folder, but when I gave the MS s/w this address it came back with an
+answer that said the drivers needed weren't in there.

Link is the web-page at Lenovo, from where you downloaded your driver stuff.
And tell us exactly for what machine (7-character TYPE from the laptop-bottom label)
