Solved! T60P hangs after installing new structure frame

I thought I could do it, but I must have done something wrong.
I followed the Lenovo instruction videos to install a new structure frame (old one was broken in one spot) and a new DC port (old one gave bad contact).
I was pretty pleased with myself I got the computer back together again, but oh no, it doesn't boot. It hangs on the Lenovo/Thinkpad screen, no HD light comes on.
Can someone please help me as to how I can start troubleshooting this?

Update. Phew, what a relief, I was too quick to panic. When I took the T60p apart, I also removed the CMOS battery. So it wasn't hanging on startup, but just wondering why it was suddenly 1998 again. After a while it gave the classic bios time and date error and after resetting date & time, I'm posting this update from the repaired machine!
