I'm considering purchasing one of these machines. I currently have a t410 and x61. I'm a bit confused about the t60 dimensions however. It supposedly has a 14" screen however pictures of it don't look as large as the t410....I'm hoping it's fairly small like the x61. I intend to travel around a lot with it. I'd love something as compact as the x61 but with the sexy high quality display of the t60.
Thank you for any help!
Compared to a x61?

Re: Compared to a x61?
A 14" T60 is taller, less wide and a tad less thick than a T410. Weighs about the same (perhaps a bit more) than a T410. Don't get your hopes up of getting anything remotely close to an X61.
Also, 14" T60s were never known for "sexy high quality displays". Only the 15" ones were.
If you want to combine the portability of an X61 with the screen quality of a 15" T60, your best bet is to find an X61 which was retrofitted with an IPS screen from an X60/X61 Tablet. It is a fairly common modification for Thinkpad enthusiasts. Or you can just grab an X61 Tablet, although it is noticeably bigger and heavier than the non-tablet version. Not as much as the T60/T61, though.
