I pulled a drive used in the external HDD caddy of a T60p and can't seem to read it on my dual boot mac in either Win7 or OS X.
Is this drive encrypted somehow? I don't remember doing any special procedures except maybe formatting to NTFS which Win7 and OS X should read.
If the Thinkpad did do something to it, is there any way to retrieve the information without the access of the T60p?

Re: T60p external HDD encryption?
If you have one, try it in a non-Mac machine.
Or put it e.g. in an external USB enclosure and attach it to a PC or laptop.
If you can now read it, you'll need to bite in the sour Apple.

Hmm, I don't. So you're thinking its a Mac specific issue?
I'll give it a try at a buddies house and see.
