Are any other T61 owners having a problem with Lenovo SoundMAX 7ka216.exe driver with Windows 7?

When I navigate to [Control Panel][Hardware and Sound][Sound], I receive:
Audio Enhancements Problem
Windows has detected that audio enhancements for the following device are causing problems:
Speakers (SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio)
Would you like to disable Driver Enhancements for this device?
Before 7ka216.exe became available, I was using Lenovo SoundMAX 7ka213.exe driver with Windows 7, without any issues.

Should I return back to the 7ka213.exe driver?

FYI ... The Microsoft sound card driver that is installed during Windows 7 installation does NOT support the microphone. The microphone is needed to create voice-over MS Powerpoint presentations (using Adobe Presenter Add-on).

I uninstalled SoundMAX 7ka216.exe and re-installed using Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode.
It worked fine, until I restarted machine.

Installing 7ka213.exe, instead. 7ka213.exe is working fine.

-----------------------------
Uninstall ...
[Control Panel][Programs][Programs and Features]
"SoundMAX" [Uninstall]

Restarted machine ...

Installed ...
Navigate to file folder (most likely C:\DRIVERS\ ... on your machine)
<right click> setup.exe
