Wifi problem ibm t60p

#1 Post by dovazin » Mon Mar 02, 2015 3:45 pm

Hello, is there any way to check if my wifi card is bad?
I fixed my notebook by replacing motherboard(burned gpu) and now i see that my wifi connection on windows 7 professional 64bit is very bad.. small range, bad quality and when i ping on other system - computer i get about 20-30ms pings but here its like 60-150?
I tried to check if antennas are in right positions and they definitely are ok.

card is 3945abg intel, ofcourse i reinstalled drivers
Anyone have any clue?

Sorry about not answering your actual question, but I would like to ask why are you running Win 7 64-bit? You only benefit when you have more than 4GB of RAM and the chipset limit for your T60p is 3GB maximum. Yes you can install 4GB but the chipset will only allow you to use 3GB of it, so Win 7 32-bit is the only realistic option and will run faster.
