Need help with modded bios for T60p (2623) to install 802.11ac

I have an Intel Wireless AC 7260 card and tried to use the modded bios from page 366 at mydigitallife and it says the bios is corrupt. Can anyone lend a hand here? There were no instructions but I renamed the ROM like Phlash16 seemed to want but no cigar. I bought 2 cards for my 2 T60p's and I have spent hours searching. My GoogleFu is weak today!!!!

That is actually an old Bios. I have 2.27 on my T60p. Anyone know of a 2.27 modded bios?

How old is "old"? AFAIK, Zender only made one modded version for T60...

The one from the link is 2.25.

Post 3356 here is a very commonly recommended one but I couldn't get it to work. It said the ROM file was corrupt. I may have been doing something wrong.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure you'd be fine with 2.25

The exact differences between 2.25 and 2.27 escape me right now, but these two should be close enough.

I had to dig out the T60 I downloaded the BIOS you're looking for on and then Google the file name to find where I got the download link from and it was right here on this forum.

I haven't tested it for whitelisting but one of the posters on the original thread had success with an Intel 5100 card. I have flashed several T60s with this BIOS and no problems. I'm using a bootable CD from the ISO file. It displays a list of model numbers it works with after it boots and you can check before you say yes to the flash option. I believe it supports the 2623. I flashed a 2613 recently and remember 2623 on the list too.
