T60p series ATI fireGL V5200 into x1600 in win7?

#1 Post by thinkpadcollection » Wed Jun 03, 2015 12:46 pm

Wondering if anyone had done this in windows 7 and linux with this ATI fireGL V5200? I did read about using both ati and firegl drivers and combine both drivers to create modified driver to do this. What about vbios modified as well?

Cheers, Thinkpadcollection

Unless one knows (exceptionally well) what they're doing, playing with VBIOS is a path of no return...

Old articles mention Omega drivers, but all links are dead. At this point, you should be happy that you even have a working T60 V5200. If you want to play some games, the V5250 comes to mind, which matches the X1600's gaming performance.
