trackpad on T60

the trackpad on my t60 has stopped working . any ideas?

Does the TrackPoint still work? Have you tried Fn+F8?

Take the palmrest off and replug the touchpad connector. The hmm at the top of the page can guide you through it. It is literally only 4 screws you need to take off, though. They are directly below the palmrest and there are mini engravings of a 'palmrest' icon on the base cover.

Yes the track point works fine. I've tried fn+f8 but nothing.
