In particular im looking for fn+f5. i have acces connections installed. I did not install the old windows 7 wireless drivers as the ones that come with 10 seem to work..

You have to run the SETUP.EXE in Drivers/HOTKEY in compatibility mode for Windows7.
Only then will the system interface driver that you are missing install.

Try these, I think they're what I used on my Z61t.

Same here, I've been experimenting with Windows 10 on a T61p as well today and after setting it up, it would appear as though the only issue so far is the mute key. All the other "hotkey integration features" work (Fn+F5 Fn+F12, etc.), but mute still eludes it. Any ideas as to how to get it going in Windows 10?

UPDATE:
Figured it out! It turns out that this issue is caused by a bug in newer versions of the Hotkey Features Integration. I went down through the driver page and found the point where it started supporting Windows 8 (which was version 3.84) and discovered that the newest version that does not support Windows 8 (3.81) seems to work, oddly enough. After uninstalling the newer magnifier and OSD driver, I reinstalled them from the 3.81 driver and it appears to be working 100%. The only disadvantage to using this driver is that there are redundant indicators on the screen for volume and brightness, but I can live with it.

I will continue my Windows 10 "expedition" on this machine and report back if anything else noteworthy comes up.

UPDATE 2:
This is a bit off-topic, but since it pertains to Windows 10 on the T61p, it deserves mention: By default, the wired ethernet connection seems to have problems in Windows 10 where it will "reset" itself every few seconds, causing the computer to lock up and halt data transfer. I was able to fix it based on the instructions in this thread on the Intel community forums.

The T61 volume keys (as well as X61 by the way) worked fine in a fresh install for me on Windows 10. I have not yet tried the mute key.

The mute key is one of the main issues. It seemed to only work properly with version 3.81 of the driver.

Small update, I did a fresh install of Windows 10 on my Z61t (previous was an update from 7) and the software for Windows 10 decided to stop working. Version 3.81 works great, thanks SurrealMustard.
