Just recently installed an legit win10 and from that every startup from hybrid hibernate etc wlan is broken. It cannot connect to my router. Not even by manually selecting ap from list. It works flawlessy after reboot. I used https://github.com/10se1ucgo/DisableWinTracking this tool to reduce microsoft tracking. I've done this same job for my R61 too an it has this issue ocassionally. R61 needs only manually reconnect to router, though.

Right click on "Start", click "Device Manager", Go to "Network Adapters", In my case I had 2 devices "Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection" and "Intel(R) Pro/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" and I right clicked on both, clicked on "Properties" and under "Power Management" unchecked the box saying "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" That is what fixed my issue.

Found out that problem doesn't occur when shutting down using FN+F12 or FN+F4. I'll try that power saving.

Oh yes! Wlan works fine after normal power cycle. Power management trick was the cure. Thanks.
