Update Bluetooth in T60-2007? Possible?

I have a Thinkpad T60-2007. I recently bought an MX Anwhyere 2 mouse which connects via wireless dongle OR via bluetooth.

My problem is that my T60 only has a combination wireless/bluetooth 2.0 card and this mouse uses Bluetooth SMART Ready (which is a 4.0 compatible protocol).

My question is this... are there any cards available for my T60 which will give me bluetooth 4.0 (and also wireless)?

Maybe I should just invest in a newer thinkpad? Which ones use IPS displays?

If your machine has the BDC connector on the screen cable you can use a bluetooth 4.0 module from a newer ThinkPad, as ThinkWiki states. I've ordered one for my T60p but have yet to install it, though.

Do not go this way. T60 haven't USB line in WLAN miniPCI-e connector. Bluetooth part of this WLAN combo module will not work.

Go this way (as i understood right you already have Bluetooth 2.0 - so your Tinkpad have BDC connector already). I can confirm that Bluetooth 3.0 works without a problem in T60 and there are some reports on this forum that BT 4.0 works great in T60.
