T61p Win 10 EQ

I'm looking for an EQ that would be compatible with the SoundMAX digital audio on the 6457 TP61p's. I want something that works regardless of the program driving the sound. I'm using the free DFX package right now and while it is good, it's not $30 good if you know what I mean.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use a freeware program called Equalizer APO with my T61p on Windows 10 to gently bump up the bass for use with earbuds and also to switch the left and right channels for my defective digital audio box. The nice thing about these computers is that the analog and digital audio output streams are independent, so Equalizer APO can address them independently. I highly recommend it.
