I've got a network with the asus as a router and WAP, and a secondary WAP
Then 2ndWAP is A wireless N using WPA2/AES. The T60 has absolutely no problems N-Connecting.
The T60, if memory serves me correct used to N-Connect to the Asus with no problems, but it seemed to stop working, so I just G-connected.
I recently tried N-connecting with the T60 and no combination of wpa or wpa2 or aes or tkip I could N connect to the Asus with the T60
A tablet N-connected to the Asus with wpa2/aes no problem.
Giving up, I reverted settings on the Asus to G settings, and tried G-connecting with the T60 and it didn't work untill I reset the router, which is a bit weird.
The Asus router seems to hate the T60 when the T60 tries to N-connect, but the T60 N-connects to the 2ndWAP no problem.
I'm a little curious as to why I have to reboot the router when switching from
I'm tearing my hair out a bit here. What is the faulty device?
I remember a long time ago under a different hardware setup a roommate complaining to me once that her Macbook didn't connect to the network, but mine easily did. I always blamed her laptop. But now in this circumstance, with 2 access points, I can tell that the T60 works in some sort of N-Configuration.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Which is faulty, the T60-N or the router?

Re: Which is faulty, the T60-N or the router?
What wireless card is in your T60? By a process of elimination you've pretty much already ruled out the ThinkPad as being the only problem; have you tried more than just these two access points? Also, what do you mean when you say this?
You don't really have a choice between N and G, it goes with N if both pieces support it. Perhaps you mean 2.4 and 5GHz?The T60, if memory serves me correct used to N-Connect to the Asus with no problems, but it seemed to stop working, so I just G-connected.
