T60: up to 2x2GB, but only ~3GB will be usable.
T61: up to 2x4GB.
T601 (FrankenPad): up to 2x4GB.

PC2-5300 or PC2-6400, whichever is cheaper.

As RBS stated, whatever is cheapest; the 'faster' 6400 memory will run at the slower speed anyway. Once you've installed the new memory I would suggest running a memory diagnostic to ensure that the module(s) is(are) functioning correctly. Best one I've found is free; memtest86+:

http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

Available in a couple of different formats (bootable floppy, bootable CD ISO image, flash drive); choose the one that works best for you. Once you have the diagnostic, insert the boot media (floppy, CD, flash) and restart the system. You might have to use the F12 boot menu to select the boot drive (CD, floppy, USB flash) instead of the hard drive. Once running, you'll see a blue background screen with the test details in white characters. Any errors that are detected will be highlighted in RED. Let the system run for several hours, good enough to finish at least three complete Passes. If you do get any errors, I would return the module for replacement or refund. Any single error should not be tolerated.

Is this suitable?

I couldn't find any PC2-5300 that were big enough.

I'd rather get these (brand-name) instead: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321518201713
Don't worry about PC2-5300/6400, they all work fine.

Thanks, I've placed an order now. At first I thought it was the same item as the one I showed - had to look close...

You even saved me some money :)
